Hey everybody! Everything is going good here in Entebe Uganda. This week was a great week we had many lessons and we are trying to find some of Gods elect. My testimony of prayer keeps getting stronger and stronger one day this week I forgot the day exactly but we got bounced by these two people we were supposed to teach so my companion told me to say a prayer so I did and within a few minuets they showed up. It was great and even the lessons went well. I know that Heavenly Father answers our prayers if we are sincere and ask with real intent. So also one day this week we didn't really know what to do because we were bounced but we felt prompted to go to this house kind of nearby and we found out that there was a less active there and that her younger brother seemed really interested in the church also so that was really cool and a blessing from the Lord. So I think it was last week I found this guy named Fredrick and he is super cool and he came to church with us yesterday and he wants to be baptized which is wonderful and so now we need to teach him a few more things and maybe even he could be baptized next week which would be amazing! There is also this referral we got from actually one of my brothers Elder Bailey if you remember me telling you guys about him well any who they taught
this girl named Evelyn and she is super powerful and is already making friends with the ward members and she also wants to be baptized. She didn't come to church because of work so hopefully she can come next week or we will have to tell her the importance of the eternal matters and how that matters way more than worldly matters. Also this Saturday we did a service project even last Thursday and we do it for Sister Kilama the Bishops wife and what we do is clean the chicken place and last Thursday I only had my church clothes which wasn't good so this Saturday I made sure to bring other clothes so we cleaned the chicken poo and there are like two levels and both are pretty small so its difficult to clean. So we are working really hard and we are also having a fun time while doing it. I am so grateful to be on a mission.
The houses here well its strange most houses are different I guess some are super small lets say we are in Boyd's room and you take out the closet area and you divide his room in half and that's what some people live in. I don't get to see really anyone's house past their living room so I don't see much of what is inside. Just the living room. Houses here are kinda hard to describe ha so ill just send pictures sometime. Its pretty hot here in Africa but one night I had no blankets so I got pretty cold which is crazy right? Nope I got cold and it was super weird so now I sleep with cover at least. The nights are warm but I think i am getting a little more used to the weather. If there is anything else you want to know ask.
Thanks so much for the email and I love hearing how everyone is doing and it sounds like everyone is doing wonderful and that's great! I love you all and I cant wait to hear from you.

1st Transfer already over, Staying in Entebe (2 Baptisms)
Transfers came and I am staying in Entebbe for another transfer so that will be good. I will try to look for the doctor that you told me about. I have an amazing Mission President and he will leave like a month after I do so that's really cool. At this time we are trying to teach lots of people but it seems that the people that are interested are always working on Sundays so its hard. Some investigators that we have are Abraham and Sam, they have some amazing questions and they seem so interested but they can't go to church because they work on Sundays so that is a challenge. In this ward there are about 200 inactive members so we are trying to find them. We have a lot of work to do and our area is huge. We have from a little further from Lunyo and it goes a little past Kahuku and that is 18 Km and there are about 6 thousand people so it is pretty big. I just got that information from Habib so I bet he is right. We had two baptisms yesterday for us and one for the other companionship.
I got the chance to baptize Esther and that was my first baptism! I was nervous but it went good. After church we got to go to a fun party with the family that had the little girl baptized. The food was so good and we also got some cake. It's been fun and I really do love the mission and I am enjoying serving here. . I love our ward and ward missionaries here in Entebbe they help us out all of the time. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. I really love hear from everyone. Have a great week and I hope I can have more time to write you next week.

I know that this is were I am needed and I love it
Hello Everyone: 7-11-11
My companion Elder Cook his parents were both returned missionaries. He has been out six months tomorrow and he has trained three times he also whitewashed to areas which is crazy. He is a super spiritual guy and likes to work hard and get things done correctly. He is also very strong he had the chance his sophomore year to be on the USA rugby team but he didn't.
He is a good athlete played basketball football and he is good. He is Tongan and I guess part Scottish too. He know how to speak a few languages which is cool and he is pretty good at speaking Lugandan, for me I am not so good at it ha but I am trying and that's what matters right. He really is great and has taught me a ton and I am so blessed to have him as my first companion.
We stayed the night at their apartment and the next day we went on exchanges and I went with Elder Seabolt and it was really good getting to know him and working with him. He lives in Utah and he is a great guy and fun to be around. I think an amazing experience happened that day too me and Elder Seabolt were looking for one more lesson and it was getting late and no one wanted to listen so what we did was we said a prayer and the next house we went to there was a guy named Emma and he seemed very interested in the gospel which was really cool to see and it was just another testimony that our Heavenly Father really does answer prayers and that he listens to us.
This Friday we just had a lot of meetings Elder Cook had a meeting with the Zone leaders and the other District Leaders. I was supposed to have someone come and be with me but they didn't come so I just studied and sat at the church. We also that day had a meeting with our district which was good and we are just trying to figure everything out. Saturday we went on splits and I went with Habib and we were able to teach the Motego family and they seem interested and I hope that they will want to come to church also. Sunday we went to church and it was good each missionary went to a different class and at the end of the day reported to Elder Cook how it went. We also had Ward council and we talked about how the missionaries can help the ward and how the ward can help the missionaries so that was really good. Then we went to the Ballyjusa family we go there every Sunday for FHE and they always feed us great and they cook amazing food for us they are so fun and nice.
There is one named Rodger who I told you about I think. well any who he likes country and he wants me to give him names of good country song by Don Williams and other country singers if you have any give some names so i can give it to him thanks :). Every day is good and I am just looking for the good in things I am enjoying the mission so much and I am still learning a lot and I will always learn for the rest of my life how to be better. I am getting to know the gospel better but I feel like I still have a lot to learn. No I haven't had to play the piano and they have an electric piano and its difficult to plug in and keep on I have tried to play just for fun but its hard.
Today is Preparation day and I don't think we are doing too much except maybe some basketball and just hanging out with the other Elders in our district so that will be fun. I hope you have a great week this week and I am so glad you guys had fun last week. Glad everyone is good and enjoying

Dear family and friends
Everything is going great and we are having fun teaching the gospel and just enjoying Africa. I hope you guys have lots of fun at the cabin and enjoy the fourth of July. Victoria washed our clothes once and now the other elders washer is now working so we will use that so Victoria doesnt have to do it. It was really fun at Zone Conference I got to see some of my good mtc friends and it was really fun and the food was super good. Last Monday on Prep day we emailed and watched the doctine and covenants shows Dallin gave us so that was good and also we have ward single FHE on mondays where we played games and had lessons just normal FHE things ha. After we went to Victorias to drop off our clothes and she made us this huge meal that was so good and she fed lots of people. I really like this area I have heard this is the cleanest areas of the mission and has the best ward family. My companion says I am spoiled because I also came at the colder part of the year in the coolest area plus we just got more money we can spend now! So we dont run out. My favorite food is definitely all the fruits I love the fruits here they are so good so so good. This saturday Brother Martin made us some Katogo with this sauce on it that was good also some Matoke and Fish. I have eaten fish here not my favorite but i still eat it. Today we are planning to go to the zoo with a few other zones and also going to play some basketball and Elder Seabolt is going to make us some cookies and me and my companion some floats. Its going to be fun. My shoes are doing fine and I've only used one pair so far and the pants are wonderful. We wear our suits to church and to meetings but thats it. So this Thursday we get to go to a mission confrence and i guess someone big is coming because the missionaries from Ethiopia are able to come and it's crazy. I will send pictures next week and I think i have some nice pictures too I was just in a hurry today because we dont get much time to write. I love you guys! have fun at the cabin! I miss you stay safe
