Hello Everyone: 7-11-11
My companion Elder Cook his parents were both returned missionaries. He has been out six months tomorrow and he has trained three times he also whitewashed to areas which is crazy. He is a super spiritual guy and likes to work hard and get things done correctly. He is also very strong he had the chance his sophomore year to be on the USA rugby team but he didn't.
He is a good athlete played basketball football and he is good. He is Tongan and I guess part Scottish too. He know how to speak a few languages which is cool and he is pretty good at speaking Lugandan, for me I am not so good at it ha but I am trying and that's what matters right. He really is great and has taught me a ton and I am so blessed to have him as my first companion.
We stayed the night at their apartment and the next day we went on exchanges and I went with Elder Seabolt and it was really good getting to know him and working with him. He lives in Utah and he is a great guy and fun to be around. I think an amazing experience happened that day too me and Elder Seabolt were looking for one more lesson and it was getting late and no one wanted to listen so what we did was we said a prayer and the next house we went to there was a guy named Emma and he seemed very interested in the gospel which was really cool to see and it was just another testimony that our Heavenly Father really does answer prayers and that he listens to us.
This Friday we just had a lot of meetings Elder Cook had a meeting with the Zone leaders and the other District Leaders. I was supposed to have someone come and be with me but they didn't come so I just studied and sat at the church. We also that day had a meeting with our district which was good and we are just trying to figure everything out. Saturday we went on splits and I went with Habib and we were able to teach the Motego family and they seem interested and I hope that they will want to come to church also. Sunday we went to church and it was good each missionary went to a different class and at the end of the day reported to Elder Cook how it went. We also had Ward council and we talked about how the missionaries can help the ward and how the ward can help the missionaries so that was really good. Then we went to the Ballyjusa family we go there every Sunday for FHE and they always feed us great and they cook amazing food for us they are so fun and nice.
There is one named Rodger who I told you about I think. well any who he likes country and he wants me to give him names of good country song by Don Williams and other country singers if you have any give some names so i can give it to him thanks :). Every day is good and I am just looking for the good in things I am enjoying the mission so much and I am still learning a lot and I will always learn for the rest of my life how to be better. I am getting to know the gospel better but I feel like I still have a lot to learn. No I haven't had to play the piano and they have an electric piano and its difficult to plug in and keep on I have tried to play just for fun but its hard.
Today is Preparation day and I don't think we are doing too much except maybe some basketball and just hanging out with the other Elders in our district so that will be fun. I hope you have a great week this week and I am so glad you guys had fun last week. Glad everyone is good and enjoying
