Hey!
Thanks very much that would be very appreciative. I have given him all the numbers so it will be easy for him to get a hold of you guys. So this transfer I am staying and Elder Baloyi and Elder Rennie are both leaving and my new companion is Elder Cumieo or something like that and I am really excited everyone tells me he is a great guy. It is sad that the other two are leaving, but that's how mission is we come and we go.
So this last week we had a really enjoyable time as a District and even working hard. This Sunday our District had nine total baptisms only two on our side, but they were a good two remember the wedding I was telling you about so that happened and that was really exciting and the one that was married was finally baptized she had been coming to church for forever and she was waiting for this moment for such a long time so that was exciting for her. Also Micheal a guy who was referred to us and that was taught a little bit in Iraq was baptized and that was such a great experience for him and I was really excited for both of them!
On the other guys side they baptized the rest of Freds family the Burundi guy that was baptized the beginning of this transfer and that was six people and also Oscars wife and her baptism is a miracle story of itself she just got surgery a few day before her baptism, but still wanted to be baptized so that was very special day for those families.Things are still continuing to go very fast and I am enjoying the time I have here it has really gone by very fast. So things are still continuing to move forward. We had a new guy come to church Crescent and he is a really nice guy and has a family from they are from Mbarara and that area is super nice the people are just super friendly.
Calvin and part of his family came which was really good and I was grateful to see them there they are such nice people. Dennis another investigator came to church and he liked it he was someone we found this week and his family is Catholic, but he doesn't agree with that so he came with us to church and said he liked what he saw. His father a stonch Catholic but we will continue to work on them and share our message. So things are really going well here and its been such a blessing. We decided as a District at the very beginning that if we did very well got above 80% retention got 16 baptisms and some good families and ward attendance over 120 we would go to wonder world and we did just that for only two hours.
No one was there it was like a ghost park and there was like only one ride the ship one and it was pretty fun. We had a good time as a District and we hit all of our goals which was very nice. We also had a great sacrament attendance again it did drop a little but that's because there wasn't ward reactivation because of the wedding, but things are going great here and we are continuing to run and the ward is going with us which is making things much easier.

I have been loving mission so much and I am glad to be able to serve him and to feel the spirit. I am grateful for all those who continue to encourage me and continue to help me its a blessing to know how the Lord works and those tender mercies that come every day.
Well I haven't yet gotten the package so I probably won't be opening it tell my birthday anyway ha. Also Thanks so much for taking Grace in I know you guys will enjoy him if it works out. So Travis got his call to Arizona that is so awesome I am excited for him. Tell Tyson Happy Birthday for me!  Well I love you guys very much and I am so proud of all of you and I thank you for all the help and love that you show me!
Love you

Hey
I am doing great just enjoying my time here in Africa while I can it is really a great blessing to be here. Yeah there is always someone new we teach ha. This week we found a few families that seem to be really interested. Such as this guy named Paul he was a Seventh Day Adventist and as we taught him he liked what we had to share. We also found another family Julius and Concy very nice couple they have accepted to be baptized and they really like our message that we have. Calvins family is still doing very well they are really wanting to be baptized, but it will take some time for them because they live very far away from church so we will see if they will be able to do that. Micheal is one of our investigators he was in Iraq when he found out about the gospel which was great because now he is here and he loves the way the church is run and he knows that it is true. We also should be having a marriage this week Alex and Lovence and Lovence the next day should be baptized which is great so things are going very well here and we are continuing to find those who are ready. John Marks family got visited by Bishop and me and it was really great. Bishop talked the family up in Sacrament for being such a loving people because they are all really kind and have a great spirit about them. So this is another transfer week and I dont know what will happen, but I think Elder Rennie and Elder Cunningham will leave. I am not sure yet but I hope to stay but if the Lord needs me somewhere else I will go wherever he wants me because that is where I am needed. So also it was another great Sabbath day we had 140 people at church and that ward activation program is going very well. I am really enjoying being with Elder Baloyi it is awesome being with him he really is a great guy actually everyone in our District is awesome and they have been all blessing to me on my mission and I have learned so many things from each and every single one of them. I also learn so much from our investigators and the ward and seeing their change of hearts and even the great attitudes they have. I am really enjoying the time I have and I am continuing to do the best I can with the time that I have. I know it is going by fast and I dont want to waste a minuet of it. What I become now will shape me into what I will be for the rest of my life so I want to do all I can to help people to come unto Christ and be the very best that I can. I am grateful for the examples that have been able to help me so much.
It is crazy to think all of those guys are going on mission I am excited for them and what they will accomplish. Thanks so much for the quotes they are awesome and have been truly helpful for me. I forgot to mention in here congratulations to Dad at being the new Bishop that is so exciting. I know your doing great Dad! So also I mentioned that guy Grace and how he is going to BYU Idaho and he doesn't have anywhere to stay after his first semester and he is on the fall/spring track. He is a great kid and I know it would be very much appreciated by him and his family he could even help Boyd if they go Haying. Just some thoughts if you could take him in for a little that would be nice. Well thanks so much for all you guys do I love you all very much and I hope you have a great week!

Hey, 3-12-12

It has been another great week in the mission field. It started off us going really far on Tuesday for a funeral. We decided we would go and support this family that just lost their mom at a young age and we went very very far to go see it and it was hard to watch. The kids were really sad about  losing their mothers. The kids were members so they have a good knowledge that they will see their mom again someday. I was glad I went to support them in their time of need though you could tell they were glad to see us their. We also did tons of walking this week it had me tired of walking for the first time ha.  John Mark and their family are still doing great he received the priesthood this Sunday which was great! One hard thing this week is the recent convert Cornelious is losing his testimony because of the friends he is around have been taking him away from the gospel telling him that what he is doing is wrong. It just shows if we put ourselves with the wrong friends it can lead us away from the straight and narrow path and it is really sad because he was one that knew so much and now is doubting. I found out he never prayed to find out if it was true so I committed him to do that and hopefully he will turn around and come back to the gospel. That's the only hard news most news is usually good. It was also great to see one of the less actives who once was a returned missionary come back to church his name is Ivan and he would be a great help in the ward and we saw him this Sunday and it was just so great! We also had an amazing Sunday we had a record breaking one with 143 people at church which was very good it was the best it has ever been so things are going great here. It has been good because we keep a positive attitude and we continue to be as obedient as we can and the Lord has been blessing us so much it has really helped me to enjoy mission so much and how great doing the work of the lord can be! I am so grateful to be on mission and serving Heavenly Father and his children. We also saw this father this week his name is Mark and he is such a nice guy married to a girl named Ruth and they have one kid and he had a question about our church and we taught him about it and he seems very interested he hasn't been to church in such a long time mainly because of work, but he seems interested in what we have to say. We have also been working on Part member families like husbands whose wives aren't baptized yet and in just the next Saturday Alex and Lovence will be getting married which will be so great because Lovence has been wanting baptism for the longest time now and now she gets it. I am grateful for the Ward and their helping us because it has really helped the missionary efforts grow. It has given me a testimony of the ward and missionaries working together and how much fruit it truly does bring. I am grateful to be in this ward and the love they have for the work right now. I am so grateful for the love everyone shows back home for their support also and their encouragement.
So it is pretty hot up here but I am not complaining its not that bad. So another thing we have a guy here Bishops son Grace he is going to BYU Idaho and he is 19 right now and he will be heading there next week so if you seem him make sure to say hi. Thanks for all you guys do I love you very much and hope you have a great week and I am glad everyone is doing good!

March 5 2012

Hey,
I am doing good and I can't believe it has been another week time is flying by so fast its crazy! It feels like I just got here in Uganda. Thanks so much for the update on everyone.  This week was an awesome week we are doing great the District is doing great and the missionary work continues to roll forward. This week I had an interesting dream I was back home and I thought about being in Uganda and I thought how much I truly missed it. Not that I felt like I didn't do enough just that I missed being in Uganda. It was very good for me it made me so glad to actually be here because one day I will be home and I will miss it here so now I should make the best out of it and enjoy it while I am here. Also we had an awesome referral family this week, they live super far from the church and walking to church took about an hour. They are a great family the husband Calvin is super interested and he bore his testimony this Sunday about he got hit by a boda boda and still managed to come to church walking and he is such a nice guy. He has 7 kids right now and 3 are below the age of 8 and all want to be baptized which is awesome they are a great family and it will be great to teach them. They were a great blessing from our Heavenly Father. Another thing this fast and testimony John Mark Natasha Aimee and Aimont all bore their testimonies and they were all so good and great to hear. Yesterday it was mainly a day for the recent converts to share their testimonies and even one got up his name is Oscar and he is like ok everybody lets get out our scriptures and can I get a volunteer to read this and we were like oh boy. The Counselor told him not to do that, but it was good. It was just such a great day and our week has been going great, full of hard work and walking. It is such a blessing being able to share this wonderful message to the world.  I also watched that movie on John Tanner and it was so inspiring to me how he could go through so much and give all he had to the gospel it shows how converted he was and how willing to do anything for the Lord and his servants it really wants me to be better. I love how much the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bless others and strengthen our relationship with our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful to know that I have a Savior who died for me and all those willing to accept the gospel. He knows us and loves us all so very much! I was looking at my Patriarchal blessing the other day and I knew that this was me and it truly showed that God knows me personally and every single one of us and that is such an amazing blessing for all of us. I love you all and I am grateful for all you do!
