Hey,
I am doing great just loving the time and doing what I can to
help the work go forward. I haven't got the shoes yet I have to wait to
go to the Aweeno market next week I need Sister Jackson permission to go
there. Our new Branch President is awesome he is a real go getter and
knows what he needs to do which is awesome we are all so excited to have
him and we know things are going to go great. The new Branch is great I
like it a lot it is a really big area haven't been to that big mountain
yet but maybe some day. My companion is Elder Flinders from Kamus Utah
he is an awesome guy only one transfer ahead of me and he is a great
missionary I am very privileged to be working with him. Being a Zone
leader is very big work. Especially last night the Assistants were in
Ethiopia yesterday with President Jackson so we had to take our Zones
numbers and also had to take reports from the other Zones we were up
pretty late last night. It is a big responsibility and I am just glad I
am not on my own I have my companion and most especially I know that the
Lord has been helping me a ton this whole time and it has been such a
blessing for me. Our area is good though Sister Ruth and brother Godfry
are preparing for their baptism this next week which is super great we
will be excited for that and I am sure the Lord will be as well. Brother
Ausuman Peter and Jackie are good. Only Ausuman came to church they
know our position and they have a desire to be baptized and I sure hope
that they continue to do what they need to. We also found some new guys
this week Ezechiel, Moses, Hunington, and
Scovia they are a family and friends from Busia. Found them this week
and taught them and they were interested in the church and it seemed
when they came to church that they loved it. Every time there was a
little spare time I saw Hunington reading the Book of Mormon which was
super awesome! So things are really going well. Patrick is good except
he works on Sundays we are praying that he may be able to take off work
so he can be baptized he has a great desire just his boss is Indian and
those guys don't really care. Enock is just kind of there not really
interested just won't humble himself as Patrick does. So everything is
going well we are still trying to bring the recent converts and less
actives to church so we will be starting that re-activation program
President Ondongo is really up for that and he really thinks it will
work. So everything is going great we are doing what we can and working
hard and being obedient and continuing to improve each
day in what we do. I know none of us are perfect but we strive to be
each and every single day thanks to the Atonement which makes it all
possible for us all to overcome the adversary. Also to become more
perfected each day. Our District Leaders are awesome they are some of
the hardest workers in this mission they all have a lot they bring and
they know missionary work is important. So they have been a huge
blessing to have and even learn from. Christ truly is Gods only begotten
son in the flesh and he lived the example that we should all follow.
Christ overcame precept upon precept he had the same challenges as we
had went through some of the hardest temptations. He knows what each and
every single one of us go through he suffered for our sins bleeding
from every pore. I know he now lives and because of what he went through
all of us one day can return if we do what is right if we keep his
commandments and listen to the Prophets then we will
return to Christ and our loving Heavenly Father. This I know they are
real and they love each and every single one of us. No one is perfect
but through the Atonement we can be made clean. I love the work It is
such a great experience to be here and see the lives of those around us
change.
Last Pday we went to the Baha'i temple it was pretty interesting it
was cool there was no spirit felt, but it was interesting to see Ill
show some pictures. This pday I think we will just make it a rest day we
are pretty tired from staying up all night but I am not sure. Well I
love you all and am thankful for the love you guys show and the prayers
you have for me. I know they are strengthening me and building me. Love
you

Hey,
I am doing good this week. We had an awesome week and even a better Sunday we had again a good number of people come to church and the baptisms went very well The Calvin family was baptized which was a great experience for them and they were so excited for it also so I was very happy for them. They have been looking forward to that day for a long time the only one that wasn't baptized was Gloria she is a bit stubborn but she will follow the example of the rest of her family soon. The pastor guy is now gone we haven't seen him the last few weeks so I don't know what happened there. We helped John Marks family move that was a good move. There is a guy from Lira who moved here the other day who is progressing very well and should be baptized this coming week which will be great he is wanting to serve a mission already looking at Lds.org to see if he could. So he is 23 and he is a very happy guy and he knows what we teach is true it was a blessing to have him randomly come.Sister Scovia as I said had her kid and is ready to be baptized next week also which will be really nice and it will be very good for their family for brother Robert and sister Scovia to both be members of the the church. So that is a little of the news going on from our side over here. The work here is really doing great and I have been loving Nsambya very much except transfers are coming soon so I won't be able to help with the phone numbers to give you until I know fore sure what is going on. So I will sure let you know next week where I go. Our investigators are doing good so far we had a good number of people at church and it is great. Lots of them were referrals to people bringing their friends to church so that was nice. The weather right now is rainy season so it rains on and off. It's fun tracting in the rain people think we are crazy. Every one here when it rains they run for shelter and nothing gets done ha its funny. So I am grateful to be on mission and learn from these great people they inspire me and make me want to continue to be better.
I am glad everyone is safe and doing well thanks for updating me on all that is going on. Thank you so much for all you guys do I love you all so much and I hope you have a great week! love you

Hey,
I am doing great. I am really loving this area and Uganda the people
are awesome and very friendly. I am glad you guys enjoyed the article
it was interesting and I liked it. So on my side things are going very
well. Calvins family are getting ready they weren't baptized this week
so we will see about the next and I have a great hope that things are
going to go very well with them. The Lord has truly blessed us because
of our hard work we were blessed with some new people at church who
came and they really enjoyed it and even one who is Andrew is ready
for baptism soon and he stays in our area which is great. Sister
Scovia Oluka is doing good she just had her baby and it is a girl. So
that's some new news. We have been teaching some college boys from
Busia and they seem super interested in what we have to say. Also a
family guy named Patrick he hasn't yet come to church we are working
with him though he seems sometimes fairly busy on Sundays. He seems
interested though. We had a family from Mbale come they have been
taught by other Elders before and I hear the father is pretty
stubborn, but the wife she is super interested so that is what keeps
her coming. One of our recent converts came to church which was such
an awesome thing she hasn't come for awhile she is the wife of brother
Charles and he always comes with the kids, but the wife is somehow
busy sometimes so that was so awesome to see. So one of the spiritual
things that happened for me this week one being when I met with a
recent convert named Daniel I think I have told you about him. He just
told me how much he needed church and how when he had nothing but came
to all the activities he was much more happier then now that he has a
job a car and all those things and can't come. It is so awesome how
the Lord works he can truly make us happier when we have nothing and
when we do our best to keep the Lords commandments. I know that is so
true we could have nothing and be more happy than those who have
everything if we keep the commandments of God. Another was from the
Calvin family and they had a daughter who wasn't sure if she wanted to
be baptized and we shared with her and the spirit was so strong one of
them Fiona knew she needed to be baptized with her family Sister
Gloria she was kinda stubborn hardening her heart, but it was softened
by the love of a pleading father asking her child please come join the
church of Jesus Christ with us and be baptized he handed her a the
Families can be together forever pamphlet and it was something I saw
that was so special the Love the father has for his children and that
he knew the truth and wanted his family to come so bad to be with him.
They have been a testimony building family with me along with the John
Mark family even though they are struggling they continue to feel the
joy and happiness that comes only through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Well Its been an awesome week and I am loving the time that I have
here. It is Elder Cumaios bday today which has been awesome. Elder
Kasue, Elder Birch, and Elder Cumaio have been great examples to me
and have helped me a lot. Its been a great building experience for me
to be here in Nsambya.
I am grateful for all you do and I love you all so much until next week.
