Hey,
I am doing great this fine August day. It doesn't really turn colder here, it rains a little bit more because it is wet season. There isn't really a certain season that it is cold or super warm it always just depends usually the hottest time is from January to March, now it is pretty nice. For P-day today we will email and shop clean the house and maybe play some sports, but nothing much really. Today we don't really have much planned just to relax. The Branch is doing well and there is a lot of need to help it continue to grow and to be strengthened so I am glad to be here and use the time and talents the Lord has given me to help build the branch. The new apartment is nice it is a little smaller and it is just me and my companion and we enjoy it. This week went really good I liked it a lot we worked hard and met some new people like Ogollah he came to church which was awesome he is from Lira. We met with some new families who have ran into missionaries before, but they have truly sparked an interest as we have shared with them. We are also working with the part member families and we have a guy who is in the High council here whose son who is 12 not yet baptized and a few of his daughters so we hope to be sharing with them also. I am excited to be here I love the work here in Jinja really nice place and great people. This week we have Zone Leadership trainings and we are planning on helping some of the members in the Zone and in our area truly work with the Recent convert Less actives and find some RC/LAs we are really trying to bring people back to the church with the branch reactivation and it may take some time to do so. I know we can do it I have an awesome companion and we have truly grown a ton while being here. I have learned some valuable lessons on the priesthood and just improving myself continually from day to day. I have seen how my companion has been strengthened through some certain things that have been able to help me out. So we have been having a really spiritual time and yeah not always easy but it is always worth it in the end. The Branch President is really awesome and powerful guy and has a huge desire to help us along with the rest of the branch. So I sent you some pictures that is our District doing a service project it is pretty awesome. This week is also Mormon helping hands week here so I am also excited to go and do that to help the people here in Uganda who need my help. So I am doing great loving it here and I will continue to serve to the best I can. We found a few other families John Mulondo is a really nice guy with a great family and I am hoping that he can make it to church. We met this mother Agnis and her daughter Emma and man have we had a really good lessons with them no one could doubt the feeling of the spirit as we taught them. She has a husband who works all the way in Mbwarara and it is hard to teach them without the whole family, but the mom and son seem very ready hopeful we can teach the Dad soon. Another family John and his wife and man they had a ton of questions for us and have really felt the spirit with the lessons we have had they will just need to take time to learn and know more. So we are doing great and still pushing ourselves to build this area in Jinja the best way we can.
It was so good to hear from you and I am glad everyone is doing well and I hope everything continues to go well. I love you all and hope everyone has an awesome week!
