September 24th

Hey,
So last week their was a little virus on the flash and I don't know how it happened, but now everything is doing OK so I am now able to send some pictures of Justine and Sandra's baptism so it was a pretty exciting experience. So this week it was another good week it was really hot, but we were able to push through it and work hard. This week I can say nothing too crazy happened and it was another week of sharing the gospel. Except Agnes and Trevor weren't able to be baptized this week because their Dad wasn't ready for them to get baptized. Their dad is a member, but just didn't want them to be baptized yet so we will be giving them another week to be ready.
Also Henry a friend from Richard is preparing for baptism this upcoming week and I am excited for them to be baptized this week Henry is already excited to go on a mission he will have to wait a year but he is ready to go and is ready to learn and I was excited about that. So this Sunday it went good and the attendance is becoming a little more stable, but still there are families that aren't coming that we have been missing. So we still have lots of work to do with them. We have a focus this week to really build the area and find more of the elect and work on those who are ready for the gospel and ready to build Zion here.
So I am still excited to be with Elder Omondi he is awesome and continues to uplift me and I have been grateful to be his companion. So the work is going forth this last week we were bounced a lot and I don't know why but we were still able to work hard and push through. Didn't find as much as we would've liked too but this week really planning on strengthening the area. I am doing great though and loving every week we have to be on mission and to serve it is a great blessing to still be here and be strengthened by the people around me and the great standard works we read everyday. I have seen how also as a family when they read scriptures together pray together and have activities I guess basically follow the Family Proclamation they are truly blessed in all things and it is something great to see and even when you share it with families and they implement it it is so awesome and great to see how happy they are and strong the become!
I love the work and I love the people it is so great to be here at this time in my life to learn the things I do. I sometimes imagine if I never came and the so many things I would have missed out on such as seeing families baptized and confirmed and preparing to enter a Temple in future times or even seeing someone baptized preparing for mission and if I wouldn't have come I wouldn't have seen all of these wonderful things I would've missed out on the blessings of coming to know these wonderful things! There would've been so many things that I wouldn't have been able to learn and see and grow from it is crazy. I know it is one of the greatest decisions and I am so glad I came it is so awesome and I am so grateful for this opportunity it is to be here and I hope to continue on and push strong!
I am glad everyone is doing well and safe I love you all so much and am grateful for your love support!

September 17th

Hey,
What a good week we had this week! It went by really fast and what a great week it was. We were able to return safely and all went really well. So this week for P- Day we aren't doing too much we are just emailing and cleaning the apartment. We will see what else we can do later on this transfer. This week Justine, Justin, and Sandra were all confirmed which was really good I was very excited for that! We are now working with the rest of Edgar's family he is young about 11 and his younger brother Trevor 8 and his sister Agnes 14 are both preparing to be baptized this upcoming week so I am super excited for that. Their mom who has been very less active for the past few years finally decided to come back which was so exciting I was so happy to see her. Her husband Fred was somewhere else in some Branch so hopefully she will continue to come. The Branch is doing well the attendance was about 82 and it went really well most of the people who came were member also so that is great. We are continuing to work with the part member families to build them and strengthen them. Also working with the Less actives a lot and we hope to be able to bring them back. So the branch members are ready to work and I am excited for this transfer. The Zone is doing good we have some new missionaries and they are all great and ready to get to work. They are super excited this transfer each and every single one of them and they are hard workers some I have even had the chance with working before like Elder Call and Elder Baloyi. So I pray that all goes well. I have an awesome new companion he doesn't let anything get to him and he is super encouraging and doesn't doubt always says "no problem" He is really great! The other day I was looking at all the companions I have had and man are they all so awesome! I have seen how some like Elder Chauya losing his dad on mission and only having his younger brother Kirth left has strengthened me through his devotion and love of the gospel. My new companion gave up going professional in soccer so he could come on mission and he was really good! Plus many other great companions who have strengthened my testimony of the gospel I have not yet had one bad companion they have all been so amazing and have wonderful testimonies and have helped me so much. I just hope they have learned as much from me as I have from them! I have been so blessed to be able to serve in Uganda it is first off really beautiful and the people just so friendly and kind. The weather isn't all bad I have gotten used to it very well. I know this is where the Lord needed me to be with these companions with these wards and branches with the Mission President I know it has all been inspired and I have been truly blessed. I love this gospel and I know that it is true every single part of it! There isn't any way that this message we share isn't true and I know that this gospel is for everyone and everyone can be blessed by this message! I am thankful to be on mission at this time and so thankful for the Love of our Heavenly Father and I know he knows all things and his hand is in all things! So I am doing great working hard to bring people to this great wonderful message and I will never give up.
I love you all so much and I am grateful for all that you do Stay strong and remember Heavenly Fathers Hand in all things! Glad to hear everyone is doing well and safe! I love you and thank you all so much for all the strength you give me each week!

September 11

Hey,
I am doing great this week so once again it was transfer week again.
Sorry I didn't email on time we had Zone Leaders Council so that is
why. I am staying in Jinja and Elder Chauya will be going to my last
area in Mutungo. My new companion is Elder Omondi he just came from
Ethiopia that is where he last served and he is 17 months on mission.
He is from Kenya and he is really awesome I am super excited to be
with him. We also got some new missionaries in the District Elder Call
once again he will be the District Leader in Njeru and Elder Moll will
be the District leader in Walukuba so I am excited for that. They have
great missionaries in their District too! So with this past week their
was that part member family that was baptized I will have their
pictures next week. Their names are Justine and Sandra. Justine is the
wife to John who is a member and has been attending the Mpummedde
branch, but he called us and said his family was ready for the gospel
Sandra is his daughter and man what a blessing it was to receive them
as referrals I guess they have been to church before, but never taught
because she wasn't ready and now she was so that was super exciting I
was so happy to hear about that. So we are continuing to work hard and
especially focus on the Part Member families that we know can accept
the gospel. I had a good experience with Elder Chauya and he was a
great companion and I know now the Lord wants me to learn from Elder
Omondi. This is the first time I will be companions with a Kenyan so I
am also excited for that. So I am doing good and always very excited
for the work and to push and encourage all those around me.
It is always good to hear that everyone is doing well and that
everyone is having a good time safe travels to Washington D.C. Thanks
so much for all that you do I love you all and hope you all have a
wonderful week!

September 3rd

Hey,
I am doing great just loving mission. We had a really good week this past week we worked hard and saw many blessings. A high councilor father had the opportunity to baptize his son which was really awesome to see that is the picture of the dad and boy The Dads name is Fredrick and son is Edgar. Also brother Nelson was able to have the opportunity to baptize Francis and Justin the taller one is Francis. Francis was taught by missionaries before us and also Justin and it was really awesome to see them baptized they are strong and have a great desire to follow the Savior. It has been a great opportunity to teach them all Edgar is a shy boy and is really bright and it wasn't very hard to teach them. Francis is a bycycle bodda bodda guy here and just looking for ways to support his family. Justin is a security officer and we found out this week that he has 11 kids wholly cow it was pretty crazy! All in all it was a good week and next week we are also hoping for a great week brother Johns wife Justine should be baptized and his daughter Sandra so we are very excited about that and I know that it will all go well. Also we have a guy named Patrick that we are hoping goes through he has come for four weeks and loves the gospel so it is pretty awesome. We also found another part member family with brother Nelson the one who baptized he has six kids and a wife. The wife is a born again and she is somehow stubborn, but I know that all will go well. The kids are pretty bright and we are hoping they will all be interested we will do our part and let the Lord do the rest. So we are really working with Part member families here and praying that all goes well. So it has been an awesome week the attendance of sacrament went to 92 I was so thankful to our Heavenly Father for that it even rained it truly was a miracle. There are still some families that need reactivating so we are striving to do our best at teaching and bringing them back. Nothing really new going on just the same missionary work and praying that all continues to go well. we had a good prep day activity today with a kickball game and it was pretty fun we combined two Zones and it was really awesome. Nothing much new seen. I will try to go and look for new things but its not easy ha. Well everything is going great still loving serving the Lord and having a great time doing it it has been a great privilege to serve in Jinja. It is a beautiful area and the people are still awesome maybe I will ask one of the locals if there is anything cool to go and see.
I am so grateful that everyone is doing good! I am so thankful for every single one of you and I love you all so much glad everyone is safe and doing great! I love you all so much Thanks for all you do!
