Hey,
I am doing great this week had another great week of working. We had a little competition today played some soccer and some Basketball it was great it was all friendly though so no one got hurt. The people of Uganda are doing wonderful I love it here so they are continuing to be the best group of people. Also this week we were able to have Zone Conference which was really inspiring and I am always inspired by the trainings given. I was also given a chance to give a training it has been a super long time though so it was pretty good to have an opportunity to give a training. So that was something we did this week that was really great and also this week we were able to have a baptism which is an interesting one.. So she stays in Walukuba another area and we have missionaries there, but she wanted to be baptized in Jinja to stay with her family because Jane, Emma and Noel stay in Walukuba but are moving back to Jinja soon with Caroline so we baptized her while Elder Nielson and Elder Jimu taught her and I interviewed her and she is super powerful so that was something super exciting this week. She has a burning testimony of the gospel and it was a great blessing to see her baptized into the Lords fold. Next week I don't know what will happen. I will just continue to work hard and be the best missionary I can be. So the sisters also had a baptism actually someone we were teaching, but gave to them because they needed some help so they baptized a guy named Anthony so that was really great. This week we are going to make sure we have firm foundation for next transfer. Time is still going fast I guess that is how life goes. Well it was a great week and we will have another great one this coming one. So for Thanksgiving I had a normal great day of missionary work so that is something I am grateful for to be serving at this time and it was a great week the Lord blessed us and the Zone very much. Well it was a great week and now it is time to go and have another great week.
Thanks so much for the email it was a great. I am glad everyone is happy and doing well. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving and thanks for the emails I will let you know when I get the Packages I love you all so much have a great week!!

Hey! :)
I am doing wonderful. We have a nice small apartment I like it a lot. We should be getting lots of new missionaries and I am super excited because this mission hadn't gotten many new missionaries for a while. Now it can start getting young missionaries again. I am so excited for the growth that is going to happen to the missionaries serving and it should be great. This week was a pretty good week. This week we found some new people and most of them seem pretty great Henry who was recently baptized showed us some new friends Jeremiah and Frank and they seem very interested in the gospel so we are excited to teach them and I know that all will go well. This Sunday was probably my highlight of the week though. We had a Southeast Africa conference and it was super awesome it was a broadcast to all here in Southeast Africa. In this conference President Thomas S. Monson gave a great quote 'If we don't try we don't do and if we don't do why are we here?" It made me think about missionary work and continuing to do our duty I loved it so much. The quote was awesome sometimes we may fail and fail and fail again, but just as Nephi knew the Lord when he commands us to do something or if our Leaders tell us to do something to just try and one day we will succeed we look at Nephi and it took him three times to get the brass plates. It takes patience, but if we keep persevering we will come off conqueror. Also Elder Crayk one of the missionary couples gave a great talk also that was very inspiring it was about sustaining our leaders and what I got from it was this if we don't do what our Leaders ask we are not sustaining Christ as our Savior so when our chosen leader asks us to do something and we don't try to fulfill it we are not sustaining Christ as our Savior. Yes sometimes we make mistakes but I know that through Christ all things are possible. It was a pretty good Sunday we have a few people progressing and being prepared for these coming weeks to enter into the fold of Christ.
It is great to hear about Butte High Football I am glad they were finally able to pull it out it shows when we put our hearts together for something as a people we can accomplish many things. Also it is great to hear that Haley has a great coach who understands and that shows great faith just to ask such a great question I am grateful for their faith to ask. Many people here in Uganda are so scared to ask their bosses for work off on Sunday it is sad so it is hard for them to come to church sometimes. I am grateful for Haleys great faith to ask now she doesn't have to miss seminary! Well this week is Thanksgiving week and I would like to wish Everyone Happy Thanksgiving!! I would like to give thanks to such a wonderful family who are always there for me willing to help me be better! I am thankful for the friends who have been such a great influence in my life! And I am most grateful for Christ our Savior in his Atoning sacrifice for us that we may become clean and that all pain sorrow or suffering we go through will be helped be the sacrifice he offered for us! I love you guys and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey,

We had a great week this past week we were able to have a great
baptism this Sunday with Johns family Sister Joyce was baptized this
Sunday which was exciting. We were able to find some new people also a
new family which Sister Marrium showed to us Brother Moses and his wife
Evelyn. They have investigated the church before, but they weren't ready
then I guess so I am hoping they will be ready now. Also at church we
had some great investigators preparing for baptism this coming few
weeks. Patrick and Meshack came which was awesome and they really liked
church.
Also we had Caroline who is a part member family come to church
and Trevor and Agnes should be preparing for the next coming three
weeks. We are really hoping for a great week this next coming week. Also
Richard was able to give us his brother as a referral also one who
investigated the church before and he is still interested in the gospel.
So we are doing great and we
have some people ready to investigate and hopefully we can get them
ready and prepared to make a covenant these next coming weeks.
Our Prep
day hasn't been too exciting we have just been cleaning the house I am
going to look for some Sunday and proselyting shoes today and that
should be pretty exciting. Last prep day we had our Zone activity once
again had some pork and even we played soccer and basketball which was
pretty great. I also finally got some new Prep day shoes which are nice
and they will last tell I come home. The Zone is doing great we have
some very hard workers in the Zone who are just very obedient and
faithful.
So I know we have some great workers. This week I was able to
go on exchanges with one of the new Elder named Elder Benjamin he is
from Malawi he is great he was a branch missionary for 5 months before
he came on mission and all of his family are members. He was pretty cool
and I enjoyed being around him I know that he will be a
great worker for the mission and has some great potential. This week I
am excited for another great week with some great new people to meet. I
love this gospel and being a missionary is super. It is great to see the
lives of those around you change to become the best that they can and
be changed in their heart to a new and better person. I am so grateful
to serve at this time in Uganda.
I heard Obama became
President it's ok we will pray for them and it will all be ok it is what
the Lord wanted at this time. I thank you so much for the wonderful
emails always given and I am so grateful that everyone is good. I love
you very much and I am so grateful for the support and the wonderful
emails and letters that I receive! Love you

Hey,
I am doing wonderful and had a great week. I am loving Jinja and still having a wonderful time serving the people here actually I love it here so much. They people are very friendly and they are like normal Ugandans very kind, but commitment very hard for them. We have started teaching some new people just the other day we contacted a man who has been taught before with his family and told me he came to church several times and told me you might be the one to convert me. I was surprised to hear that so hopefully we can teach him and the spirit will convert him I am sure he seems pretty ready. Also we did have a baptism that old man John was baptized and it was a really great one I was very excited he came to church for several weeks and finally was baptized so that was nice and next week we are hoping for sister Joyce to be baptized this next and upcoming week. Also their are some others that we are teaching in Kimaka, but we are hoping to find out if they are serious enough.

We found some new
guys Robert, Moses, and Charles they were pretty nice guys and we are
hoping that they will progress. So we are still finding some people and
even there are a lot of people who come every day to the church to study
for school and we are hoping that we will be able to teach them they
aren't yet member, but we know that if taught that they will be ready to
progress they seem smart and they said it was the spirit that led them
to study in the chapel. Our apartment is pretty small I will send some
pictures. I like this apartment a lot it is really great. Every
apartment I have been in has been great and I have liked them a ton. The
Branch is doing good we are still striving to get more people coming to
church for members to do their home teaching and get some more things
going.
Also we are hoping to get these big group meetings going on at
the church so we can have many investigators at
the church at one time. So instead of just teaching one or two at a
time we will be teaching in big numbers. That is another thing we are
striving to make it and bring many to the church. I am grateful to be a
servant in the vineyard and to be sharing with these great people. I can
only hope to be the servant Heavenly Father needs me to be at this time
I am striving to be a more effective and a great messenger of this
wonderful restored gospel. I am just so grateful for the talents that I
have been given and I will strive to be a greater servant.
So for the Ugandans maybe you can make some bracelets for them with some gospel principle like endure to the end, faith in every footstep and other things. Also some ties or something I am not sure, but those are some little things that I believe you can send with any other idea that you have. I am so thankful for the email I loved it so much little children have eternal life as my last companion would always say and I cannot deny that. I am so grateful to have been blessed with such a great family and friends who continue show their love in prayers and give strength to me. Thanks I love you all!
